Mismatched

Like a black sock,
paired with a white sock,
Two left shoes, 
on a pair of feet. 

Mismatched.

Coffee, 
no cream, 
Grits, 
with sugar, 
and bacon, 
without ice cream. 

For some, 
Still mismatched. 

Lord, 
their mouths
don't match their hands. 

Mismatched. 

But your hand hasn't changed, 
and your word...
